The Fanning Wedding

    Hi everyone! My name is Emily Fanning, and I feel honored enough to share my wedding with you all.

    Before I got engaged in June of 2015, I have always been obsessed with weddings. I’ve always loved attending them, looking at wedding pictures, and I even spent hours watching wedding videos on Vimeo. (Yes, I was that girl.) I thought when my time came to get married, I’d have it all together. I could plan, design and coordinate my own wedding, no problem. Then, I got engaged, and my whole life flashed before my eyes. I came to the realization that wedding planning was no easy task, and as “crafty” as my mom and I are, we were not capable of planning a wedding, especially MY wedding, on our own.

    Then, the fabulous Jennifer Cluff with Simple Means Events popped up on my instagram feed. I thought in my head, there is no way I am going to afford this lady, she’s amazing. I have followed Jennifer’s work for months, and I never thought I would be lucky enough to have someone like her for my wedding day. Then what happened? My dreams came true. Jennifer met me at the venue I had already picked out, and she brought my dream wedding to life with just a clipboard and her creative mind. She didn’t need ideas from pinterest, she was as original as they come. After the hour I met with her, I knew I had to hire her for my wedding, so then we began our journey.

    Planning a wedding is stressful, but all my stress went away once I had Jennifer. She had an amazing group of vendors lined up for me to work with, (if I chose to use them) as well as a wonderful staff. Everyday leading up to my wedding, Jennifer was my right hand girl. She was constantly keeping me on track with things, as well as bringing me up to speed with her plans. Nothing was ever about anyone else but myself and my soon to be husband, and she made that clear. The most amazing thing about Jennifer besides her mad wedding skills, is her personality. She is someone who was easy to stay in contact with, as well as share new ideas and thoughts with. I had the best wedding planning experience because of her. I could tell Jennifer really cared about making my wedding day perfect, and to a bride that means everything. Simple Means Events is amazing. If I had the choice to redo my wedding, I wouldn’t change a thing, because it was that dang perfect. PERFECTION I tell you, and I have Simple Means Events to thank for that. I will forever love this company, and if I had any advice to any brides reading this, hire Jennifer Cluff to style, coordinate or plan your wedding, because I promise you, it will be the wedding of your dreams, and you will not regret your decision!
